Quick Take: Flying Blue’s November Promo Rewards include one-way economy awards between Europe and several North American cities from 18,750 miles, San Diego premium economy from 30,000 miles, and Air France business class between New York-JFK and Europe from 45,000 miles. Book by November 30 for eligible travel through April 30, 2027. The headline price is a Light award, so check baggage, lounge access, change rules, and cash surcharges before transferring points.

Flying Blue has dropped its November Promo Rewards, and this month’s list has one deal that will get most of the attention: Air France business class between New York-JFK and Europe from 45,000 miles each way.

That’s a very good mileage price when you can actually find it. There are also plenty of more practical economy options from 18,750 miles, plus a San Diego premium economy route from 30,000 miles.

There’s one wrinkle that’s easy to miss, though. Since Flying Blue changed its reward fares in September, the cheapest advertised price is a Light fare. In other words, 45,000 miles may buy the lie-flat seat, but it doesn’t automatically buy every perk or ounce of flexibility you might associate with an international business-class award.

That doesn’t kill the deal. It just means the old habit of looking at the mileage price and calling it a win is no longer enough.

The Best November Flying Blue Promo Rewards

Flying Blue publishes a new list of discounted awards on the first day of each month. The November offers are available for booking from November 1 through November 30, 2026, with eligible travel through April 30, 2027.

The prices below are one-way starting prices. Flying Blue uses dynamic award pricing, so you’ll only see the promotional floor on dates with the right availability.

Economy from 18,750 miles: Air France routes between Europe and Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Toronto, Vancouver, and Washington-Dulles; KLM routes between Europe and Atlanta, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Portland, and Toronto.

Premium economy from 30,000 miles: KLM between San Diego and Europe.

Business class from 45,000 miles: Air France between New York-JFK and Europe.

Flying Blue Extra exclusives: Air France economy between Europe and Miami or Ottawa from 18,750 miles, plus premium economy between Montreal and Europe from 30,000 miles.

Booking window: November 1–30, 2026, for eligible travel through April 30, 2027.

The Europe side of a long-haul Promo Reward isn’t limited to Paris or Amsterdam. Eligible connecting flights within Europe can be included through Air France’s Paris hub or KLM’s Amsterdam hub, which makes the deal useful for travelers continuing to cities such as Rome, Madrid, Prague, or Copenhagen.

That said, don’t assume every European connection will appear at the same floor price. Search the destination you actually want, not just Paris or Amsterdam, and compare several dates.

The JFK Business-Class Deal Is the Headliner

A one-way Air France business-class award from New York to Europe at 45,000 Flying Blue miles is the most compelling item on the list. Flying Blue’s current entry-level business pricing starts at 60,000 miles on many transatlantic routes, so the Promo Reward cuts that floor by 25%.

Finding the price is a different question. Flying Blue’s calendar can show a wide range of mileage amounts on the same route, and “from 45,000” does not mean every day—or even every week—will have a seat at that level.

Search one-way and stay flexible

I’d start with one traveler, one-way, and a broad range of dates. If the 45,000-mile seat appears, price the complete itinerary to your real destination. Then check the return separately. You don’t need to force a round trip if one direction has the deal and the other doesn’t.

Also compare both New York-to-Europe and Europe-to-New York. The mileage price may match, but taxes and carrier surcharges can differ by origin, routing, and departure country. Flying Blue requires those cash charges to be paid separately from the miles.

Light Awards Changed the Value Equation

Starting September 8, 2026, Air France and KLM reward tickets moved to three fare options: Light, Standard, and Flex. Flying Blue says the starting price shown for Promo Rewards is the Light fare.

For economy and premium economy, Light does not include a checked bag and can’t be voluntarily changed or refunded. Business Light has its own quiet surprise: complimentary lounge access is tied to Standard and Flex business fares, not Light, unless you qualify through elite status or another access method.

Yes, that means a 45,000-mile business-class passenger could have a lie-flat seat but no included lounge visit. Airline logic has entered the chat.

Don’t transfer points based on the 45,000-mile headline alone. Find the exact flight, confirm the fare is still available, and review the final taxes and carrier surcharges first.

Light fares trade flexibility for the lowest mileage price. Compare the additional miles required for Standard or Flex if checked bags, lounge access, or the ability to change plans matters to you.

Flying Blue Platinum and Ultimate members get more favorable treatment on Light awards, and elite status may restore benefits such as lounge access or checked baggage. Everyone else should read the benefit list on the final booking screen instead of assuming the cabin name tells the whole story.

A 20% Capital One Transfer Bonus Improves the Math

Capital One launched a 20% transfer bonus to Flying Blue on the same day as the November Promo Rewards. The offer runs from November 1 through November 30, 2026, changing the usual 1:1 ratio to 1,000 Capital One miles for 1,200 Flying Blue miles.

That can make the lowest Promo Reward prices look even better:

  • 18,750 Flying Blue miles: transfer 16,000 Capital One miles to receive 19,200 Flying Blue miles.
  • 30,000 Flying Blue miles: 25,000 Capital One miles.
  • 45,000 Flying Blue miles: transfer 38,000 Capital One miles to receive 45,600 Flying Blue miles.

The transfer bonus is useful only after you find the flight. Flexible-point transfers are generally final, and a promotional seat can disappear while you’re moving miles. Search first, confirm the cash total and fare type, then transfer only what the booking needs.

Use the thePointsPage Transfer Bonus Master List to confirm the current offer, and run the numbers with the Transfer Bonus Calculator before you move anything. If you need to organize dates, airports, fees, and backup options, the Award Trip Planning Checklist keeps the whole decision in one place.

Families Get Another Useful Discount

Flying Blue discounts reward tickets by 25% for children ages 2 through 11 traveling with an adult. Current coverage indicates that the child discount also applies to Promo Rewards, which can make the economy routes especially appealing for families.

Still, price every passenger together before transferring. A family of four needs four award seats at the same level, and Flying Blue may not release the same low price for the entire group. If the total jumps when you add travelers, search two passengers, then three, to understand where the cheaper inventory ends—but don’t split the family across separate tickets until you’re comfortable managing the risk.

How I’d Book One of These Awards

  1. Start on Flying Blue. Sign in and search the exact origin, destination, cabin, and traveler count.
  2. Use flexible dates. Check several days in both directions instead of anchoring to one departure.
  3. Confirm the Light fare. Review baggage, lounge access, seat selection, and change or refund rules.
  4. Compare Standard and Flex. The extra miles may be worth paying if your plans aren’t firm.
  5. Check the full cash portion. Taxes, airport charges, and carrier surcharges aren’t covered by miles.
  6. Compare the cash ticket. A discounted award can still be poor value when paid fares are unusually low.
  7. Transfer last. Move Capital One or other flexible points only after the exact award is ready to book.
  8. Save the confirmation and fare rules. Screenshot the mileage price, cash total, fare type, and included benefits.

Getting to the Point(s)

Flying Blue’s November Promo Rewards are worth a real search, especially for New York business class at 45,000 miles, San Diego premium economy at 30,000 miles, and the long list of economy cities at 18,750 miles.

The 20% Capital One transfer bonus makes the mileage side even better, but the new Light-fare structure is the part that should slow you down. A low award price can come without checked baggage, changes, refunds, or even business-class lounge access.

Find the seat first. Check the cash charges. Decide whether Light is actually enough. Then transfer points. If all four pieces line up, this can be an excellent November booking—not just a shiny number on a promo page.

Search first, transfer second

Use the Award Trip Planning Checklist to compare dates, mileage prices, taxes, fare rules, and backup flights before moving points. Then follow The Runway, browse the latest thePointsPage articles, or ask the community how they’d build the trip.
