This policy explains how you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of eligible personal information held by thePointsPage.

Last updated: July 24, 2026

Need to submit a privacy request? Contact us using the email address or Contact Form provided below. Please do not include passwords, complete payment card information, security codes, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

1. About This Policy

This Data Deletion Policy applies to thePointsPage, a TPP Consulting, LLC company (“thePointsPage,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

It describes how we handle eligible privacy requests relating to personal information collected through:

  • The thePointsPage website
  • Contact and consultation forms
  • Travel insurance quote requests
  • Award booking and other service requests
  • Email subscriptions and communications
  • Reviews, testimonials, surveys, and feedback
  • Website tools that transmit information to us
  • Other direct interactions with thePointsPage

This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy .

2. Privacy Requests You May Submit

Depending on where you live and the applicable law, you may have the right to request that we:

  • Confirm whether we process personal information about you
  • Provide access to eligible personal information
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Delete eligible personal information
  • Provide a portable copy of certain information
  • Restrict or object to certain uses of information
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising activities

These rights are subject to applicable legal requirements, exemptions, verification procedures, and limitations.

3. How to Submit a Request

You may submit a privacy or deletion request by email or through our Contact Form.

Submit a Data Request

Email: patrick@thepointspage.com

Use the subject line: Data Deletion Request

You do not need to create an account or purchase a service to submit a privacy request.

4. Information to Include

To help us identify your information and respond efficiently, please provide:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your interaction
  • The type of request you are making
  • The service, form, subscription, appointment, or interaction involved
  • An approximate date or date range for the interaction, if known
  • A description of the information you want accessed, corrected, or deleted
  • Your state or country of residence, when relevant

Please provide only the information reasonably necessary to identify and process your request.

5. Identity Verification

Before fulfilling certain requests, we may need to verify that the requester is the person associated with the information.

Verification may include:

  • Confirming control of an email address
  • Matching information provided in the request with information in our records
  • Asking for limited additional information related to the original interaction
  • Confirming authorization when a request is submitted by an agent

Information collected for verification will be used only as reasonably necessary to verify and process the request.

We will not ask for your account password. Do not send passwords, security codes, complete credit card numbers, passport copies, or government identification unless we specifically explain why limited additional verification is legally necessary.

6. Information That May Be Deleted

Subject to verification, applicable law, and any permitted exceptions, deletion may include eligible information such as:

  • Contact-form submissions
  • Consultation or service-request details
  • Travel insurance intake information held by thePointsPage
  • Award booking request information
  • Email marketing subscription records
  • Reviews or testimonials not subject to another valid basis
  • Correspondence and customer-service records
  • Other personal information linked to the verified requester

The exact scope of deletion will depend on what information we hold, why it was collected, and whether continued retention is permitted or required.

7. Information We May Need to Retain

A deletion request is not an absolute requirement to erase every record in every circumstance.

We may retain information when reasonably necessary or legally permitted to:

  • Complete or document a transaction or requested service
  • Maintain tax, accounting, licensing, or business records
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, or insurance requirements
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
  • Detect or prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
  • Protect the rights, property, or safety of users or others
  • Resolve disputes or enforce agreements
  • Maintain suppression records needed to honor an unsubscribe or opt-out request
  • Preserve appropriately anonymized or aggregated information that no longer identifies you
  • Meet another lawful and permitted purpose

When information cannot be deleted, we may restrict its use where appropriate and explain the general reason for retaining it.

8. Third-Party Service Providers

Information associated with your interaction may also be processed by third-party providers, such as:

  • Email and newsletter platforms
  • Scheduling and appointment providers
  • Payment processors
  • Form and survey providers
  • Website hosting and security providers
  • Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google AdSense
  • Travel insurance companies and quote marketplaces
  • Social-media and community platforms
  • Other service providers involved in a requested transaction

Where required and reasonably possible, we may direct applicable service providers acting on our behalf to delete eligible information associated with a verified request.

Some third parties act independently and maintain information under their own legal obligations, privacy policies, and retention practices. You may need to submit a separate request directly to those providers.

9. Insurance-Related Records

Travel insurance quotes, applications, policies, and related records may involve insurers, marketplaces, agencies, or other licensed entities.

Some insurance-related information may need to be retained for licensing, regulatory, contractual, fraud-prevention, accounting, or legal reasons.

A deletion request submitted to thePointsPage does not automatically delete records maintained independently by an insurance company, marketplace, carrier, or other provider. You may need to contact that organization directly.

10. Local Browser Data and Cookies

Some thePointsPage tools may store information locally in your browser or on your device without permanently transmitting that information to us.

Locally stored information can generally be removed by:

  • Clearing cookies and site data in your browser
  • Clearing local storage
  • Resetting the applicable tool
  • Using a private or incognito browser window

A deletion request sent to thePointsPage may not remove information stored only on your own device.

Cookie, analytics, and advertising preferences may also be managed through the privacy controls displayed on the website and through your browser or Google account settings.

11. Email Marketing Requests

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by selecting the unsubscribe link included in the message.

Unsubscribing generally removes your email address from active marketing lists, but we may retain a limited suppression record so that we can continue honoring your request not to receive future marketing messages.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not necessarily delete transactional, appointment, payment, service, legal, or security records.

12. Processing Time

We will acknowledge and process verified privacy requests within the period required by applicable law.

Depending on the law that applies, the response period may generally be approximately 30 to 45 days. Additional time may be permitted for complex or numerous requests when notice of the extension is provided.

The response period may be delayed until we receive information reasonably necessary to verify the request or identify the relevant records.

Where no specific legal deadline applies, we will make reasonable efforts to respond within 45 calendar days.

13. Response to Your Request

After reviewing a verified request, we may:

  • Confirm that eligible information was deleted
  • Provide the requested access or correction
  • Explain that we could not locate responsive information
  • Explain that some information was retained under a permitted exception
  • Request additional information needed to complete the request
  • Deny all or part of the request when permitted or required by law

When a request is denied or limited, we will provide the general reason when required and appropriate.

14. Authorized Agents

Where permitted by applicable law, an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf.

We may require:

  • Proof that the agent is authorized to act for you
  • Signed permission from you
  • Direct confirmation from you
  • Independent verification of your identity

We may decline to process an agent’s request when authorization or identity cannot be reasonably verified.

15. No Discrimination

Where applicable law provides this protection, we will not unlawfully discriminate against you for submitting a privacy request or exercising an applicable privacy right.

However, deleting information may affect our ability to provide a service, maintain an appointment, respond to a request, preserve tool data, or continue a relationship that depends on the deleted information.

16. Appeals and Complaints

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to appeal a decision regarding your privacy request or submit a complaint to an applicable privacy or data-protection authority.

To ask us to reconsider a decision, contact us using the information below and include:

  • Your original request
  • The date of our response
  • The reason you believe the decision should be reconsidered

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Data Deletion Policy periodically to reflect changes to our website, services, technologies, legal requirements, or business practices.

Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
